About EMLI
EMLI is led end-to-end by one point of contact — from discovery through delivery — with specialists brought in as needed. Nothing about how your system works is ever a mystery to the people responsible for it.
EMLI was founded on a simple premise: businesses handling sensitive data shouldn't have to choose between using AI and protecting their clients. That premise comes out of three decades spent building and running technology inside organizations where getting it wrong wasn't an option.
Most recently, that meant leading AI and machine learning product strategy for a healthcare technology platform — designing the governance, security, and deployment controls that let generative AI operate inside a regulated environment under HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC2, while architecting the underlying retrieval and agentic systems that made the product work. Before that, over fifteen years were spent running enterprise customer success and delivery for one of IBM's global technology partnerships — managing the escalations, executive relationships, and operational discipline that come with keeping large, demanding clients through hard problems, not just easy ones.
That combination — hands-on technical architecture and senior enterprise delivery, in the same career — is the foundation EMLI is built on. It's also why engagements are run by one dedicated point of contact rather than handed off across a rotating bench: the person who understands your business is the same one designing, building, and standing behind the system.
