Vijay Rengan is an enterprise technology and AI leader with more than 30 years of experience spanning product strategy, platform architecture, global delivery, and business leadership. His career has focused on turning complex technologies into practical capabilities that organizations can operate, govern, and sustain.
Before founding EMLI, Vijay led AI and machine-learning product strategy and platform delivery for healthcare compliance, employee well-being, and workforce optimization solutions. Earlier in his career, he built and led global enterprise delivery organizations supporting mission-critical IBM AIX and Linux environments across the United States, Latin America, and Europe.
His work across healthcare, financial services, and enterprise technology has shaped his approach to artificial intelligence: innovation must be accompanied by clear ownership, strong governance, operational resilience, and measurable business value. He brings both an executive and engineering perspective to this work, connecting enterprise strategy with the practical realities of architecture and production implementation.
Vijay architected E-QUERY, EMLI’s private enterprise intelligence platform, to demonstrate how organizations can apply large language models, multi-agent workflows, and retrieval-augmented generation while retaining control of proprietary and regulated data.
He holds an MBA in Finance and an MS in Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, along with postgraduate credentials in generative AI, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
